Named after a town's "burnt-tasting" water, this style of Navajo rug comes from the Sanders, AZ region. This rug style is more of a modern style. The style was developed by Bruce Burnham and Don Jacobs at the Burntwater Trading Post. Navajo Burntwater rugs are known for their beautiful pastel colours derived from vegetal dyes and commercial dyes. Most have borders and have been influenced by the "Two Grey Hills" style.
