A sterling silver heart storyteller pin. It features depicts scenes from life on the reservation. The pin has animals like sheep, dog, horses, a hogan, trees, woods with axe, and clouds. It is typically made using the sterling silver overlay method. Two layers comprise the jewelry the top layer is a scene, figures, or symbols meticulously cut out and then placed over a solid bottom layer. The two layers are then “sweated” together the silver is heated until the two layers meld. The result is a 3-D picture with great depth and interest. On the back of the pin it comes with a clasp. The heart pendant can be worn on any clothing.
