This Zuni Sunface symbol necklace is simple and lightweight. The forehead is divided into two sections inlaid with stabilize turquoise and red spiny with a black onyx strip divider. This symbolizes the existence of a person as a unique individual and also a part of the family. Below the forehead is the Sunface rectangular eyes and a round mouth which according to Zuni culture this symbolizes the continuity of life. The Sunface is inlaid in a plain silver strip bezel surrounded with silver twist wire. The pendant has cut silver soldered round wire that looks like the sun rays shining off the sunface. The necklace comes with an eighteen inch silver-plated chain.
