This Navajo bolo tie is made with Sterling Silver. The bolo tie is made with an overlay  piece that has been cut out with the in the shape of a Navajo pottery. The piece is heavily oxidized to add contrast. The back of the bolo is stamped “Sterling” and  the letter “R”.
