Product Information

Tufa casting is an old technique used to create jewelry. This absorbent volcanic stone with its soft surface it makes it easy to create a mold by hand carving the desired designs from the artist. Tommy R. Jackson uses this method to create a beautiful ring; its texture share sandstone texture however some of the ring’s features were hand stamped. The centerpiece is a Royston turquoise stone and holding it in place is a handmade cut bezel. The ring’s shank has four solid strips and between them are a row of thin lines. Inside the ring are the hallmarks.
